How to Report Spam and Phishing Messages

If you receive spam or phishing messages

Sometimes you will receive spam or phishing emails. It is important that you follow these steps when reporting them.

1. Immediately forward the message to swhelpdesk@aitn.co.uk
2. Delete the message from your inbox
3. If you did not click on any of the links from the email, no further action is required. However, if you did click on any links from a phishing message, or suspect thank your account was otherwise compromised in anyway; change your passwords immediately, and contact AIT Support desk either by calling 0115 9170 197 or log into the AIT helpdesk
